Whether it’s exam stress, social anxiety, eating disorders, bullying, comparison on social media, lack of confidence/self-esteem, problems sleeping, feelings of not fitting in - mindfulness can help.
Mindfulness helps children and teenagers build resilience and confidence, while equipping them with the tools to regulate their emotions and calm their nervous systems. Sessions are designed around the particular needs of the individual, with the aim of providing the support needed to navigate their specific challenges, while building confidence and self-esteem. Mindfulness is presented in age appropriate formats, using games and activities to engage and connect to the present moment. Sessions can be face to face or online.
Hope in Minds offers sessions/workshops for groups of children and young people which can be tailored to meet the needs of your organisation and differentiated across all age ranges. These can be in the form of one-off taster sessions, regular drop-in sessions or a 4 week programme.
Hope in Minds offers staff training sessions to provide staff with the skills to teach mindfulness in the classroom, making mindfulness an integral part of school life. The skills will also empower staff, teaching techniques which can help manage stress/anxiety and the pressures of an overwhelming workload.Click here to discuss your requirements and welcome mindfulness into your school.
